troubleshooting

in the real world (not in thoery) ,i need some idea about troubleshooting network connectivity!
some say we do it from layer 7 to layer 1 ,and some say from the layer1 to 7,though in the thoery
they recommend doing from bottom to top. i agree in the real world many things can't work well
as what it stated in thoery.so ,,,any comment or suggestions are always appreciated.

well, in the network enviroment, troubleshooting require you know alot of skill and knowledge. and hand on experience doing lab.
from my experience, doing more lab also help increase troubleshooting skill.
